Welcome to ID3
ID3 is a newly formed research and educational non-profit institution located in Cambridge, MA. It is organized as a multidisciplinary Hub of thinkers, educators, and entrepreneurs formed to design, code, test, and scale a new data ecosystem of innovative data-driven enterprises, networks and services in finance, media, health, arts, and government. A principal focus of the entity is to develop open source software and educational content to advance legal, policy, business, analytic and software methods and practices for the protection, sharing and monetization of sensitive data.
Trust Framework
Building and testing trust frameworks are one of the key missions of ID3. The ID3 approach is to move the expression of trust frameworks away from ambiguous policy principles and practices towards reference technology implementations that can be tested, verified, improved and scaled.
