Your Data Locker holds all of your personal information in a location secured and controlled by you – So how does this work?
First, you receive an invitation to join the Mustard Seed Trust Framework.
Through the invitation you are given directions to set up your own personal data locker and link external accounts (Facebook, Gmail, Twitter, and more). Your Data Locker holds all of your personal information in a location secured and controlled by you, such as Dropbox.
You join and provide login credentials. Your identity is secured through OAuth, which provides single sign-on access to Mustard Seed services and apps.
Any information you create or want to share in your locker now gets wrapped in a Trust Wrapper. A Trust Wrapper is the packaging that enables you to express and secure how you choose to share your data with others.
The Mustard Seed Trust Framework enables you to to create your own personal social network with your own unique permissions and security.
Through the network, you can share different aspect of your personal life by showing different views of your calendar, data, and other aspects of your personal information. You can always see the other individual’s perspective of your information.
Accountability and trust is preserved through the Audit Locker, which holds a log of transactions and data access requests.
