Candide Kemmler ID3 Fellow and Fluxtream

Candide Kemmler is the initiator of the Fluxtream open source platform, which recently merged with the Bodytrack Project of Carnegie Mellon’s Create Lab. Fluxtream.org got launched in October 2013 as a publicly accessible instance of the Fluxtream OSS set of tools where people can import their personal data which is otherwise kept inside walled gardens and/or spread across multiple silos. Once the data is imported, users are free to hone it for exploration through a unified user interface that makes it easy to compare hypotheses about their well-being.

Candide never stopped thinking about the more philosophical aspects of the World Wide Web, such as the importance of open source, privacy and the balance of power between the web’s cloud giants and mere mortals.
